You can get settlements from AI without opening the console by using speed run strats. You need either an army (may not be necessary)and diplomat in range of the capital of the AI. You demand all settlements you can, offer 10199 denarius for 19 turns and AI will accept. You then use the army and siege them or cancel tribute before ending the turn.

Historically speaking the trireme was of Carthaginian origin... Its what they absolutrly decimated the romans with in the first punic war. Their tier 1 porrs should of made them then they should of gotten the corvus aswell instead of the standard.

Is it the number of settlements or government buildings? I ask bc with Julii you own Segesta, which has no buildings, even gov building, on turn 1 If I recall correctly. Also, does the level of the gov buildings you own matter? Does a lvl 3 city count more than if it was a lvl 2? Could you start a civil war by having less settlements, but having them be more developed?

With Rumors of a *Star Wars* game of all things I think that historical is dead and buried. Maybe it's not a Total War game but a shooter, either way it's not a historical title. I'm not sure I trust CA to make a good historical title anyway. Maybe the team behind Manor Lords will figure it out once their done with their game.

I mean look you can tell that's not from CA at all because why would their little readme be talking about "hre" and "england" etc. etc. in a timeframe before Rome 1 is even released? M2 coming AFTER Rome 1, so something that's supposed to be prior to Rome 1's release mentioning M2 factions makes zero sense.

Found this out myself the other day re: Castle population growth rates: Castles grow very slowly even when you've got farms in them and a general that acts as a governer. But a governer with chivalry increases population growth rates. BUT: generals who govern castles can't set tax to "low" (which grants Chivalry) which means they're usually doomed to never gain more than 1 or 2 Chivalry. So you need to move governers who have good Chivalry from the low tax-rate cities and towns into the castles, and then the castles will grow much quicker
